All By Himself!

Clayton enjoys helping in the kitchen but now that he's in school all day he rarely gets the chance to help out. When there is time he's usually overshadowed by his big sister. So he was thrilled when Mom asked him if he wanted to assemble the banana pudding ALL BY HIMSELF! His first reaction was that he had never made a banana pudding and didn't know how. But Mom wrote out step by step directions and he drew boxes beside each step so he could check them off as he finished. We all got a kick out of watching him work. He worked at it long and hard. It took him about 45 min. from start to finish. Dad took pictures of the progress. We all enjoyed a big helping of banana pudding when he was finished. He beemed with pride as we bragged on each bite! How nice to have another chef in the house!
