This year we decided to break up our trip to Texas a little by stopping a couple of places along the way. We left Grandma's hotel early Monday morning got to Branson that afternoon. While there we spent two days at Silver Dollar City.
Neither of our kids are big on the fast roller coaster type rides. Courtney has always enjoyed the swing. But this was the first time Clayton was interested in riding it with her. We are still shocked that he went through with it.
Shawn and I both hate the dizzying round and round rides but those were all the kids wanted to do.
Of course we couldn't go to Branson without seeing a couple of magic shows. We saw one at SDC and went to The Hamner Barber show one evening. I'm not sure why I didn't take any pictures...but you can see the promo picture below. Hamner does an excellent bird act and Barber is a ventriloquist....very funny! My favorite is when his dummy walks out carrying him!
