Daddy's date with the dolphins was a highlight of
the day (and year) for all of us! He and the trainer spent about
45 minutes with this dolphin named Sasha.
They spent a few minutes getting aquainted with and learning about dolphins from the side of the pool. Here Shawn is rewarding
Sasha with a yummy hunk of fish.
Once inside the pool Shawn spent more time doing tricks with Sasha,

Next came the part Shawn dreamed about as a kid when

The trainer taught him how to swim with Sasha. They spent around 30 minutes playing and swimming together. Shawn could dive to the bottom of the pool and he could hear Sasha clicking and soon she'd pick him up and swim him to the top! Around and around the pool the went!
